Jane Elizabeth Rode works in the studio at her home that sits next to a beautiful lake in New Jersey. 

She loves creating beautiful images and words, cooking, gardening and paradoxically the olympic sport of sabre fencing. She competes under the name Jane Eyre.

She took up the sport in her mid-forties after her son left for college and has since been ranked in the top four of the United States for the last fifteen years and internationally has won the Veteran Women's Sabre World Championship title seven times. She runs her own club where she shares her love of this challenging and exhilarating sport with people of all ages. 

She encourages everyone she meets to follow their hearts and find their bliss...
