About the author
Lynn Connelly Leporati grew up in Huntington and Sag Harbor, New York, and always loved Christmas. She began writing the poem that would become "A Visit to Santa's House" as she rode on the hour-long train to New York City for work in her early twenties. Later, after she married and had three daughters, it became a family tradition to bring the magic of Christmas to life by reading "the Christmas poem" out loud every Christmas Eve. Lynn's daughters continued this tradition with their own children. Today, Lynn, her husband Ernest, and their three daughters and seven grandchildren all live in Colorado and together, they hope you enjoy the Christmas magic, excitement, and wonder that this story brings to life.
