A Soldier For Christ is about the struggles of a Christian Man, born in the South, raised in Baton Rouge, La. in the early 60's. He grew up around gamblers, hustlers, drug dealers but had a goal of becoming a Lawyer. Addicted to marijuana His Mother tricked him into seeing a Substance Abuse Counsler. A Evangelist/Pastor came Prayed,Layed Hands and God brought supernatural deliverance. At the age of 21an arranged marriage was held but it did not matter the love He had for His wife was matched with the love each had for Christ. Both went too Bible College and got together with other believers until problems of envy and jealousy grew through four ministries. During the fourth ministry a son and a daughter were born. After the Botched C-Section the Soldier For Christ faith was tested over and over again. The vow that this Christian man made while preaching His ordination at the First formed fellowship was to be honored after 12 years. Why would God do such a thing at this time? What was He asking The Soldier For Christ to sacrifice? Was He willing to do it? Betrayed by childhood friends who had hidden envy, hidden jealousy. Betrayed by Men in ministry; Attorney's; yet all things work for the good of them that love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose. As a believer in Christ, you will be lied on, misused, abused, and betrayed by friends, family, and loved ones. When you mature, you will love, and forgive. This is a heart of A Soldier For Christ.
