About the author
Connie Olson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Her motivation for writing this book is a desire to share a delightful, mostly true story about her childhood pets, Spot, a black and white beagle, and a duck named Donald. She has incorporated basic, character building values into this story. Connie (nick-named Corky), Spot, and Donald grew up together on the banks of Lake Catherine in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She and her family attended church, and she has been a Christian since the age of twelve. Connie and her husband, Andy, celebrate fifty years of marriage and have twin daughters, who are both professors at colleges in Florida. Connie and Andy are currently living on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs with their English Bulldog, Jake.
