Judson I. Stone is an Air Force brat whose father served as a flight surgeon for eleven of Judson’s growing up years. Judson’s draft number in 1970 was 275, but he chose to try his hand at collegiate basketball over military service. He’s a graduate of Maryville College in Tennessee, with a major in biology. He attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, graduating with a Master of Divinity (1978) and Doctor of Ministry (1992). He served as a pastor of Baptist churches in Machias, Waldoboro, Dexter, and Cape Neddick, Maine. He served as corporate chaplain at First Rate, Inc. in Arlington, Texas. He volunteers at the Walton Correctional Institution. He collects old documents, stamps, coins and loves to read. He is married to Janice and they are the proud parents of Nathaniel, Aaron, and Adam; they have four grandsons and one granddaughter. They live in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
