Judson wrote the book about his father to record his family heritage, World War II Army Air Force service, post-war medical career in the Air Force, and in private practice. He is preparing to publish a biography of a great-great uncle who died as a young missionary in Oman in 1899. Judson has been writing as long as he can remember. It took on new meaning when he wrote his undergraduate dissertation in biology. When he entered pastoral ministry, writing became a weekly task for sermon preparation. He then wrote a doctoral dissertation. He has been writing poetry since his teenage years, wrote articles for the York Weekly (Maine) following 9-11. Judson wrote a book about his son's tour of duty in Iraq and a transcription of his great-uncle's World War I diary, both of which are unpublished. Judson loves to walk, read, and travel. He collects old documents, belt buckles, and stickers. He is married, has three grown sons and five grandchildren. He works part time as a cashier at a local grocery store.
