Overview
A CHOICE OF ANGELS is the tale of two cultures colliding. When Ayse Yalçin, a Muslim college exchange student, meets the son of a Southern Baptist Minister, Daniel Harris, an innocent study date evolves into a budding romance. Daniel's father, Clayton, tells his son not to pursue the relationship, but his father's stern warning goes unheeded.
Set in contemporary Atlanta, Georgia, and the ancient city of Istanbul, Turkey, A CHOICE OF ANGELS explores the depths of religious intolerance in the modern world. The story takes the reader through two families filled with pride, turbulence and suffering as it looks at the dysfunctional family of mankind. It is a novel that is as sure to inspire as it is to spark heated debates. It is the perfect choice for bookclubs across the globe.

The idea for this novel was born in the year 2000. The actual manuscript was started on August 13, 2001, almost a month to the day before 9/11/2001. This book is prophetic. Recently, when the Gainesville, Florida, pastor Terry Jones burned a Koran, it was as if Pastor Clayton Harris, Daniel's father in the novel, had come alive.
In the ten years since this book was published, despite several wars and the deaths of tens of thousands of people, almost nothing has changed. The author has priced this book to allow for everyone on earth to read it. They should.
