About the author

Camila Garcia was born on May 4, 2009, in Fort Worth, Texas. Growing up, she loved drawing, going into her backyard and "rescuing animals'' (dropping them in a plastic bowl full of blueberries and water and getting very confused when she found them dead the next morning), and playing with her dog, Khloe. Now, she lives in Katy, Texas with her parents, Juan and Johana, younger brother, Jacob, and dog, Khloe. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, writing stories, and talking and playing games with her friends. Camila likes to spend her time with her family, and totally doesn't lose every game night that they have (It's not her fault that her dad is good at cards and memory). Besides writing, Camila is a Black belt in taekwondo pursuing her third-degree black belt. Camila is fully bilingual and can read books in both English and Spanish. She is (currently) in 6th grade and enjoys going to school mainly to see her friends, going to art and English class, and lunch and advisory, of course.
