About the author
John Marc Anderson and Glen Michael Cannon met at age eleven while growing up in U.S. military families that traveled the world. Upon reassignment, the boys lost touch with each other. After separate but similar careers in sales, marketing, copywriting, and merchandising, the pair picked up where they left off following a chance phone call almost 40 years later, and began to write "The Legend of the Magpie King." Marc is an accomplished artist working in relief and sculpture. Glen is an expert in mid-century design and an avid collector of vintage consumer products, some dating back to the 1860's. This is their first novel. A sequel is in the works.
