Deanna Asbury has over 30 years experience working with young children as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds a MS from The University of Michigan and CCC-SLP with The American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  The Dog Days of Ernie is her first book.  The Dog Days of Ernie is illustrated by Mike McCartney, an international dog cartoonist, who makes Ernie come to life with his skilled drawings and sense of humor.
