Premise Martin is an established accounts payable professional who oversaw creditor management for some of the biggest names in retail, including Nautica, Marc Jacobs and Versace. Following her time behind the scenes for top fashion, entertainment and financial industry leaders, Premise embarked on three intentional years to develop her own retail product targeting consumers in the $11 billion dollar nail and beauty industry. In 2017, Martin founded PediLicious Footwear LLC. "Pedi" meaning, foot in latin, and "licious" an adjective describing something as delightful or extremely attractive. As her first entrepreneurial venture, Premise found the inspiration for PediLicious, in women everywhere, who've ruined a pedicure moments after leaving the salon.The company's first patent issued a signature line of dual purpose casual footwear, known as the "Pedi-Flop" sandal, created to help prevent chips or nicks on freshly polished toenails and be worn before, during and after pedicure treatments. Premise knew her "Pedi-Flop" sandals would shine at the nail salon, but designed them to be durable enough for everyday wear. It's why the patented "Pedi-Flop" sandal is the perfect post pedicure and everyday footwear. It's unique design features a wide footbed for forgotten pinky toes, four built-in prong toe separators to protect fresh pedicures post nail salon, and a built-in semi arch. Premise Martin's "Pedi-Flop" sandal comes in a variety of colors, and has been constructed to assist those with ailing lower back, hip and calf muscle pains, caused when wearing non-arch supported footwear. Martin, a graduate of Essex Community College with a degree in Accounting is also a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, a radio show host, singer/ songwriter, author and motivational speaker. Channeling her creative skills into entrepreneurship for the first time, she is excited to be a small business owner, woman business owner, business venture and is a proud member of the Two Ten Footwear Foundation, is a certified, WBE/MBE: Woman and Minority Business, Ms. Martin is also a member of the US Chamber of Commerce Small Business Leadership Program and is known as the National NAIL Magazines VIP go to for Spa Footwear.
