The action takes place all over London, and even in a Japanese palace in Africa! Locations include Baker Street, Wimpole Street, the British Museum, the London slums, a bordello and the African forest. If you are intrigued at least by the implausibility of the premise, read the book and see that it all really happens, and comes together nicely. If you are a fan of the Sherlock Holmes stories you will enjoy this book. Even if you are not a fan, the sheer cheek of the premise and the novelty of the character mix will sustain your interest. This is an untypical Holmes-genre story that will please both devotees (at least those with a sense of humor) and the irreverent. Not since "The 7% Solution" have Holmes and Watson been in such good company!
