The first book features 22 women across our nation as they unravel their most challenging times to discover wisdom every woman needs to thrive. She says, "There is a positive reality on the other side of our most difficult moments. By bringing female leaders together to speak openly about matters that are often silenced, every woman knows she is not alone." Professionally, Roquita has permanently changed the landscape in a male dominated rail and transit industries. In 2011, Roquita became the 63rd president, and first African American, of the Memphis World Trade Club. One would think thriving in an industry dominated by men would be enough. It wasn't!
