Overview
The decision to follow Jesus is more than just a thought, a moment in time or even a prayer. It is based on God’s Word, not feelings. If you want to have a relationship with Christ, it must be on his terms – not yours. So, you have accepted Christ. Now what?
Description
The decision to follow Jesus is more than just a thought, a moment in time or even a prayer. It is based on God’s Word, not feelings. If you want to have a relationship with Christ, it must be on his terms – not yours. If someone came up to you and asked you the question, “How do I become a Christian?” What would you say? Would you tell them your opinion or could you open up your Bible and show them what Jesus and the Apostles said to those who asked that question? If you can’t, do you really know the answer? Have you settled for what someone told you or have you checked it out for yourself? Accepting Christ as your savior is a step in the right direction. The challenge is to accept Christ for what he says and what he expects from you. So, you have accepted Christ. Now what?
About the author
Susan McAllister became a Christian more than 33 years ago and has helped build and strengthen churches in Southern California, in England and in her home state of Colorado, where she now resides. She cherishes her two sons, Jonathan and David, and is a grateful wife to her husband, Bruce. She strives to keep the priorities she taught her children: Love God and love people. She appreciates a good laugh, almost any sport and a creative play. She relishes spending time in the outdoors, which is evident in one of her favorite scriptures: “I lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2
