Kara Anderson is a wife and mom of two children 8,12 and Santa's Secret Elf was written after her son Gordy (then 5) sat on Santa's lap and asked to make his Mommy better. Kara was battling breast cancer at the time and his request brought tears to Santa's eyes as well as those around them. Everyone knew that Santa could not handle that one request and it was then that Merryam was created and the story of how even Santa can't handle all the needs that the children have. Kara is a business owner and now by the grace of God and her family an author or what she feels is her second greatest achievement.
