Meant to bring awareness to the pain and hardships endured by inmates and their loved ones, as well as lend support to those in similar situations, Sundered takes a political stance on racial injustice in our legal system. It aims to change the way society sees, reacts and punishes those labeled as criminals—most of whom are victims of an oppressed criminal justice system.
