Royal Impostor is a Historical Romance set in seventeenth century France at the end of the Wars of Religion that has plagued the country for decades. Young Gemma Marseau is a lady-in-waiting at the court of the captive Queen Marguerite Valois who was exiled from Paris for her promiscuous lifestyle which brought shame to the monarchy. Gemma is of noble birth and is betrothed to Sir Jay Fontaine who is next in line for the French throne. Her marriage plans are marred by her suspicions that her parents are not her real family, and that she is not of noble birth after all. She begins to seek answers. Along the way she meets Raoul Rousseau who is a knight in King Henry IV's guard. They fall in love. Gemma is not interested in a relationship with a poor knight and rejects his advances. Raoul is not what he seems, but he helps her discover her identity and true love.

Huguenot Henry Navarre is wed to catholic Marguerite Valois; an arranged marriage to save France from more wars of religion. Marguerite suffers heartbreak for she believes that her parents are sacrificing her to Navarre to get her away from the court at Paris. They are embarrassed by her promiscuous lifestyle. She believes if her brothers can have illegitimate relationships so can she. She pursues that lifestyle to the chagrin of her husband, now King Henry IV, who locks her in Usson castle and forbids her to leave the city. When a thief steals three major art masterpieces from the Louvre, the king calls on Marguerite to help chase down the thief. He would reward her if she succeeds by letting her return to the fascinating court at Paris where she belongs.

I'm a musician, worship leader, christian songwriter, and author. In the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-29 there was one man to whom God gave just one talent. I am that one talent person, but I have invested that one talent according to God's word and I have received more talents along the way. First It was just playing piano in church, and then it became learning the new contemporary worship and playing a keyboard, and then it became leading worship at church and choreographing worship dance, and then it became putting songs from the congregation into song form so the church could sing them, and then it became christian songwriting, and then it became becoming an author. It has been a great and exciting journey. The journey has led me to five trips to Sydney, Australia to Hillsong Music Worshp Conferences, Christ for the Nations in Texas to study songwriting, and attendance at many Integrity Music songwriting conferences, and my song PASSIONATE MONET HEART placing in runner-up position in the Song of the Year International songwriting competition, plus six other songs getting honorable mentions. I look forward to more God arranged adventures in my future.
