Overview
I hope my story inspires the reader to live life to its fullest. That's why I named this book, Romance At 74. My life is not perfect, but at 74, I've learned to enjoy it, by looking for the good out of bad situations. There is life after a divorce. It took a while, but I learned to love again. I share my life's journey because I wanted you to know the things God brought me through. That makes me the person I am today. My first marriage was when I was 14, that was too young. But, at age 22, my husband left me for dead. The way that marriage ended was horrifying! My second marriage was never about the two of us. It was his way or no way. Being single for 22 years, it gave me a chance to get to know who I am, after my divorces. I share those stories with you. So, you'd know why I didn't think, I'd ever want to be in another relationship. Until Mr. Right came along. Then I said, yes to romance at 74.
Description
The first part of my story is to inform the reader to where I began my romance journey. That was at age 14 when I first married. Then, romance at 74, that's where I am now. Through the years I've made a lot of mistakes. I've learned from some of my mistakes that helped me to become a mature woman. The story of Romance at 74 is not just for only entertainment. I hope it inspires seniors and those that have lost hope in romance; not to let their past keep them from being in love again. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with being single. While I was single for 22 years, I was beginning to enjoy it until I met the one that did, and said all the right things to me. It happened at the right time in my life!
