Save your daughter or prevent the apocalypse? Megan Knight awakes on a ship fleeing the Earth to discover that her best friend has been leading a double life, and her little girl, presumed dead for the last four years is alive and well on the dwarf planet Sedna. With her former comrade having pirated a futuristic spacecraft and foresight knowledge of future events, the zealous Dawn of Revelations cult now have the means to decimate the Earth as described in the events of the Holy Bible. Now captive, Megan needs to expose the Dawn's evil plans back home and give Earth a fighting chance in the Revelations war. But faced with constant threats to her daughter's life, will she choose between saving her or the lives of the people back home?
Description
Revelations - From Dawn to Dusk is a book which mixes religious elements and themes with the world of space travel and colonization in a science fiction setting. The main protagonist of the story, Megan Knight, learns that her young daughter who she presumed was murdered over four years ago by the antagonists of the story - the 'Dawn of Revelations', is actually alive and being raised by the cult on a far away dwarf planet named Sedna. The Dawn of Revelations seek to bring the apocalypse to Earth to 'cleanse' it of sinners and Megan must now decide on going along with the zealous cult and see her estranged daughter, or attempt in getting a message out to warn the Earth - risking the safety and life of her little girl. The fate of billions are at stake, and with technology which has been brought back from the future, Earth would be caught unprepared in the coming war without warning. Can Megan play both hands without being caught? Revelations - From Dawn to Dusk is suited for adults young and old alike who love the science fiction genre, and perhaps like to see a religious theme or element mixed in with this setting.
About the author
Robert J Hamilton is from Canberra, Australia, and an avid fan of the science fiction genre. After reading a novel titled, 'A Fall of Moondust' by Arthur C. Clarke, he was was inspired to start writing a story of his own. Since a young age he held a fascination for astronomy and the unknown, and believes that science fiction is the one genre where the author's imaginings can take you to places so truly unique, and far out of this world. Revelations - From Dawn to Dusk is the last of the books in the Revelations series, but is written to be a stand-alone book in its own right.
