Photojournalist Joanna Caldwell came home from war to her parents’ ranch to find peace and heal. Instead, she found a puzzle from her past and a problem that had to be solved.

JOANNA CALDWELL, an award winning photojournalist, wants peace and healing when she returns to her parents’ home. She finds instead a puzzle from her past and a troubled man going through much of what she is facing. SERGEANT NEIL HENDERSON wants peace and healing also, but he wants his two sons, JUSTIN and TOBY, more. His wife AMY has set up a scenario for tragedy with her petition for divorce and her refusal to grant Neil access to his sons. Joanna and the boys’ grandfather, REUBEN KLEIN, find themselves embroiled in a battle neither wants to fight and faced with a Special Operations father who will claim his children no matter the cost and no matter who tries to stop him.
