About the author
New York Times and LA Time Best Selling Authors, (You'll Never Make Love in This Town Again), identical twins Terrie & Jennie were born and raised in Chicago. They were early Doublemint Twins who performed with the USO in Vietnam. They made their way to Hollywood, expecting to 'hit it big' within the year - and ended up spending many years 'dancing' in the Hollywood Fame and Fortune marathon, first as comedians at The Comedy Store, then writing, producing, agenting, managing and eventually becoming Hollywood insiders.
Jennie became a licensed California Talent Agent, member of the Conference of Personal Managers and was on the Board of Directors of Los Angeles Women in Music. Jennie was signed as a music writer with one of Hollywood's top music executives and personal managers. She was accepted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences where she judged music for the Emmys.
Terrie worked alongside the President of the Agency for the Performing Arts and two Directors at Walt Disney Studios. She also worked at Universal Studios. Terrie was elected to two terms on the Board of Directors of the Producers Guild of America and helped to create their POV Magazine and Producers Guild of America Awards. Together the twins wrote movies, produced Dr. Phil's first pilot and were members of The Recording Academy, best known for the Grammys. They also co-authored Tales from the Casting Couch, Unfinished Lives and a New York Times and Los Angeles Times best seller You'll Never Make Love in This Town Again (Dove Books).
Jennie and Terrie traveled the world and belonged to the Circumnavigator's Club. Terrie lived in Hong Kong, where she worked at Chase Compton Advertising. She speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin.
Today Terrie is active with military and veterans causes. She received the Presidents Award for Excellence in the Arts from the Vietnam Veterans of America - travelled on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. with a WWII Veteran - is a Lifetime Associate Member of the Marine Corps League and is on several veterans committees. Terrie has the distinction of being awarded an Honorary Commander Lifetime Achievement award at Luke AFB.
Before Jennie's passing in 2008, she and Terrie wrote several books - this book among them - that are slowly being published in Jennie's honor. The first, "The Doctor Dance - Confessions of a Beverly Hills Doctor's Wife", published in 2013, penned by Jennie, is an entertaining, funny and shocking expose of the medical profession.
Jennie's music writing lives on in many YouTube videos, featuring the albums and songs the twins wrote together. Dorothy Parker's Room Enough For Two is a one woman show staring Terrie and featuring all original music written by both Terrie and Jennie. The play and songs are available on Amazon, Spotify, CD Baby and many distribution outlets.
Both Jennie and Terrie have been featured in The Marquis Who's Who publications: "Who's Who of American Women", "Who's Who in the World" and "Who's Who of the Millennium." Terrie recently received "The Marquis Who's Who Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award."
