Alexander Toth was an American cartoonist, born June 25, 1928, in New York, New York. He was known for his animation designs for Hanna-Barbera, as well as a long list of work for DC Comics, Dell Comics, Golden Key Comics, Marvel Comics, Standard Comics and Warren Publishing. He was inducted into the comic book industry's Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1990. He passed away May 27, 2006 in Burbank, California at his drawing table. Dana (Toth) Palmer is the oldest daughter of the late, great cartoonist Alexander Toth. She was born in Pasadena, California, now makes Western Michigan her home. She was a photographer for almost twenty years, and today freelances as a writer and designer. She also handles the family business tied to her father's estate. She believes in God, miracles and divine intervention, and love as the greatest impetus for change. The experience she had with her father in the last year of his life changed the way she views everything.
