Doretha Dingler is a Mary Kay Elite Executive Independent National Sales Director Emeritus. Coming from humble beginnings bidding peas for her family’s east Texas agri-business, Doretha eventually rose to the position of National Sales Director with Mary Kay, overseeing a multi-million dollar international cosmetics enterprise and proving that the opportunity created by Mary Kay Ash when she founded her company in the early sixties was not only real but available to any woman from any background. Joining the company shortly after it was founded, Doretha worked closely with Mary Kay from the Company’s early years until her passing in 2001 and still considers her the most significant role model for women in business today. Doretha still devotes time to writing, teaching, and encouraging others to continue Mary Kay’s priceless legacy of empowering women.
