About the author
Mark Zampardo retired after 30 years of teaching horticulture at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL. Currently, he is an instructor of plant identification courses at the Chicago Botanic Gardens in Glencoe, Il. Mark earned his PhD in horticulture from the University of Illinois.
