Overview

Grace in Progress: Prayers for the Beautifully Broken is a collection of prayers intended for individuals seeking a spiritual enrichment of their prayer life. This book was created for men, women, and teens who struggle with accepting God’s grace and speaking to Jesus in prayer. Grace in Progress contains 21 prayers, and a reflection from the author on her own personal story of finding and accepting God’s grace and letting go of the vicious cycle of fear, regret, and self-hate.

Description

Faith can be elusive at times in this world when we knock up against bad choices, persecution or tragedy. Yet Christ loves us perfectly and knows we are but a wonderful work to be completed through Him. No matter how crooked our paths may be or how far we may sometimes wander from Him, He is always there waiting to welcome us home. Grace in Progress: Prayers for the Beautifully Broken will help you find the heart within your heart, where your story of grace begins, and discover where Christ most needs to abide in your life. These prayers will encourage you to trust God more, rely on your own ways less and embrace the depth of God’s love in the ordinary moments of your life.

About the author
Jennifer “JC” Beichner and her husband, David live and work in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and prior to moving to Arizona in 2002, she worked in law enforcement as a Police Services Officer and also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Jennifer has dedicated her life to service, giving her talents over in ministry to women, seniors and teens as a volunteer high school youth minister on Core for Life Teen at St. Patrick Catholic Community Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jennifer also serves as a Board Member for the charity M.A.D. Girls Inc., sings in the choir and occasionally teaches “Prayer in Motion” classes. In addition to her volunteerism, and colorful background, Jennifer is going to school, working on two novels, edits for other writers and teaches group fitness classes at her local gym. In 2013, Jennifer was named “Woman of the Year” by the Phoenix Diocese Council of Catholic Women, an honor she firmly believes is a testament to how God works through our brokenness to reveal His love, mercy, and grace to others.
