About the author
Crystal is a first time author who was born and raised in the small town of Sparta, Georgia. Hailing from a small town with a population of less than 10,000, Crystal's greatest passions are basketball, getting to know other people, spending quality time with family and friends, and teaching. Crystal's passion for her family grew from the time she spend being raised by her deceased grandmother, Mattie Grable. Matt Lou, as she was affectionately call by those closest to her, instilled in her family the need to love everyone unconditionally, be transparent and always give whenever you are able. Because those values were instilled in Crystal as a young child, she has continued to live her grandmother's creed, placing the highest priority on family values. After working in a local public school district, Crystal noticed how many of her students were not in tune with literature or reading and wanted to create a book that children could use each night to read prior to bedtime. To help parents re-establish the routine of reading and/or writing with their children each night, Crystal authored this book, in an effort to encourage her students to develop a relationship with God.
