Born as the oldest of six children to pastors Larry and Melanie Stockstill in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Joel Stockstill was raised in the ministry from birth. He was officially ordained into ministry at nineteen and became associate pastor at his home church, Bethany World Prayer Center, by age twenty-two. Having faced many personal struggles with his health and the passing of his first wife when he was only twenty-eight, he carries a unique perspective into the lives of the hurting. For nearly fifteen years, the Lord has used Joel to touch countless lives with the saving power of Christ. His heart for people, particularly young people, has empowered him to build one of the largest youth ministries in America, reaching over seven thousand weekly. Joel remarried in ­­­­2010, and he and his wife, Amie, serve as a prophetic voice providing inspiration to leaders all over the world.
