Citrus Sunset

This book includes poems written to and about my late husband during our marriage and his eventual health decline. It also includes those written during my first year of being a widow.

This book is my attempt to heal after the death of my husband and includes the poems I wrote through the years together and my first year alone. The words helped me through the grief and on towards a productive and happy life with family and friends. Perhaps these words might help others on their journey through the loss of a loved one.

Joann is a retired educator who lives in New Mexico. Her children and step-children also loved Bob and miss him. She has written poetry for years, usually based on her observations of the places,critters and happenings around her. Words helped her heal.
