Overview
God didn't wind this earth up like a clock, go off and leave it, only desiring to visit it on occasion. He wants to engage with His Creation.
Description
Our first parents, Adam and Eve, committed "high treason" when they forfeited an intimate walk with God for a substandard, futile and drab existence. Someone said, "You never see how far man fell until he starts the climb back." God said He would do a quick work at the end of the age. He saves the best 'till last! Jesus tied a noose around the devil's neck and gifted His Church to prevail. Therefore He says: "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men." (Ephesians 4:8) Our journey is all about embracing what God is currently into, "signs and wonders" manifesting (Mark 16:17). This bankrupt world, unraveling at the seams, deserves much more than what's been available, as a general rule, in the church world at large. I have no desire to be judgemental, arrogant or unkind. I just want to help all of us respond to the "wake up call" and let people in on the action. The Bible says, "Be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving our own selves." (James 1:22) The Christian Walk is not about "dead religion" but all about doing! The Father of our faith, Abraham, gave the indication that he would have liked to live in our time. If that were so I would deem him a "mental case," due to what's transpiring in our world. But on second thought, I believe he was seeing outside of the taste, touch, see, hear or feel realm. I believe he was witnessing all of Heaven being astir, at the preparations being made for Christ to triumph, by dealing a death blow to Satan, and then appear and snatch His Beloved Bride away. God has instructed me to "Never preach anything that I'm unwilling to back up with action." So, look out devil, here we come! If we go God's way, He will go our way! So let's wake up Church and "Get ready to rumble!" Our best days are ahead.
About the author
God is still into the Supernatural! It is refreshing to be reminded of all the events, of that nature, which have occurred since Gary Johnson's journey with God that began on November 3rd, 1940. God desires to put some "Super" upon our "Natural" as we journey through life. Not that they are everyday occurrences, but they should happen on a fairly frequent basis. Gary Johnson grew up, one of ten children, in Eastern South Dakota. As a young boy, he had unusual encounters with God, which intensified as he grew older. Gary was a computer programmer in the "dark ages" during his stint (1958) in the Navy. He assumed that would be his life's vocation until God apprehended him through a Divine Miracle! He has a Master's degree from Central Bible College, Springfield, MO. The Charismatic Movement was in the early stages and he began to experience unprecedented miracles, something which never abated. Our Heavenly Father is pleased when we take Him at His Word and avail ourselves of all that His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, purchased for us through the agony of His Crucifixion: and also, what was accomplished for us through the power of His Resurrection! This is not a book about "dead religion." Gary personally has been involved in enough of that to "choke every mule that's ever been born!" Religious people killed Jesus. The Gospel that Jesus talked about is a way of life, and He meant what He said when He expressed His desire to let us in on the action. He's pleased when we engage ourselves with what He started on Planet Earth. Nothing in this book is embellished. Gary has no need to impress anyone, he just desires to let the God of the Universe, Who intends to engage with His Creation, "show up and show off!" Grab ahold of the book and enjoy the ride, you won't be disappointed!
