Overview
AS THEY TOLD IT: The Oral History of a Frontier and Ozarks Family is a collection of remembrances passed down through the generations. History, Ozarks' tradition, and legend combine to tell the story from the people who lived it. Explore times past through their memories, compiled together for the first time. ..."There is a grain of truth in almost every family legend. People can exaggerate, generalize, or abbreviate the stories they were told or overheard as children, but they rarely create unfounded rumors."
