Description
The adventures of Losten Deforest and Emerys Treasure continue. In this second tale of our favorite college student, Losten is summoned to Canada by Emerys, who has been put on trial by the Mer-Council. As events unfold, Losten finds himself dealing with an irate presecutor, explosives, a polar bear, and, of course, Emerys' sister, Crystellen. But, will all turn out well? Or will Losten find himself 'losten' the Canadian wilderness?
About the author
Cliffie Coates (b. 1981) grew up on the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia, studied mechanical engineering, and worked for over six years as an engineer. Known to his friends as a slightly quirky guy with an unusual sense-of-humor, he enjoys writing, ballroom dancing, good conversation, and questionable jokes. Although for years he wrote technical procedures, his interest in writing stories re-emerged during his one semester sojourn into graduate school. While reading a humorous blog about a certain vampire melodrama, he mused that he could write a better fantasy novel. Thus, as his interest in graduate school waned, he sat down and wrote his first novel, "The Tale of Emerys Treasure." which he hopes you will enjoy.
