A Gaze Of Flint

Elizabeth Blake, a young woman given 'The Sight' by a parallel universe, becomes involved in the rescue of a young child, who has been captured by a bitter, deranged woman. Elizabeth is in love with an agent from the parallel universe, but unknown to her, he can only think of a woman, with whom he is smitten, in his own land. As Elizabeth becomes more and more involved in the child's rescue, she finds herself fighting for her life, her sanity and her faith in the man she loves.

A Gaze of Flint, has all the ingredients of a tense thriller, which also streams images of romance and a tint of the paranormal into its readers' imaginations.

Sandy Hyatt-James is an English woman living in Bulgaria, where she used to teach English as a foreign language. She was educated at Ruskin college, Oxford. Upon completion of her studies, she spent eleven years as a child protection social worker, with the last three being in management. Sandy has written four novels, three of which, (including A Gaze of Flint) contain adventure, romance and a tint of science fiction. Proving her writing is as eclectic as it is imaginative, she has also written a crime fiction novel. When not writing, Sandy enjoys ten-pin bowling and being with her husband, friends and three dogs. An avid classical ballet lover, she also likes to attend the Sofia Nation Ballet, as often as she can.
