This book will provide comprehensive resources in North Carolina concerning Mental Health. The Mental Health crisis continues to increase in the USA. Knowledge of resources is beneficial in obtaining treatment and support. North Carolina has a hundred (100) counties. Each chapter in this book covers a county. The counties have been listed in alphabetical order. The first chapter begins with Alamance County and the last chapter is allocated to Yancey County. Essential information about community resources is located in each county. Topics cover services for medical, substance abuse, mental health, legal, housing, transportation, food/clothing, and physical leisure activities.
It is our pleasure to publish the 1st edition of the 2024 MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCE GUIDE FOR NORTH CAROLINA. This Resource Guide was a collaboration of many caring souls, long hours, and years of dedication. The authors, Dr. Daniels and Edwards, Esq., hope that this book will be useful, and also serve as a beacon of light to individuals and their loved ones who need support and services.
