I wrote "Woven in Time" as a reflective collection that pairs photographically with brief works of creative nonfiction, exploring how the meaning of our experiences often emerges gradually: sometimes long after a moment has passed.
Rather than present life as a linear sequence, I chose carefully curated moments to invite you into a quieter space of observation and reconsideration. Events that once seemed ordinary, uncertain, or incomplete are revisited, revealing new depth through time and memory.
Some of my family history is reflected in my writing. My father wove his way through Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases and my mother through Alzheimer's. Their past grows into my present. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. So, my life intertwines and braids with theirs like the roots of an old oak tree.
I reside in Syracuse, NY. My writing and photographs have been published in "Open: Journal of Arts and Letters," "Beyond Words Literary Magazine," "The Midway Journal," and elsewhere.
