Jane Melloy is a retired teacher and counselor. She and her husband, Mike, have three daughters who live several hours away with their families. "What Is It, Grandma?" was inspired by the fact that they don't get to visit their grandchildren as often as they would like so when they visit they make it special by bringing a small surprise. Jane enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, painting, and volunteering in the community. Jane lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
