Susan is an educator, an author, a mother of three, and a grandmother of six. She's had an extensive career in education as a teacher, an educational consultant, and federal program specialist. From the time her children were very young, she concocted stories, poems, and silly rhymes that entertained and captivated them. Her love of storytelling continues with her grandchildren who delight in the imagery and silly rhymes she creates. In Wishy-Washy Weather, she incorporate simple lessons through playful rhymes and whimsical illustrations which promote vocabulary and literacy in young children
Susan currently lives in Fulton, Maryland near her family and spends her summers in Vinalhaven, Maine where she soothes her soul and renews her creative energy.
