About the author
Susan Falkenhan is an educator, an author, a mother of three, and grandmother of seven. She has had an extensive career in education as a teacher, a placement coordinator, an educational consultant, and a federal program specialist. From the time her children were very young, Susan concocted stories and poems that entertained and captivated them. Her love of story-telling continues with her grandchildren who delight in the imagery and silly rhymes she creates. Susan lives in Maryland near her family and spends her summers on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine. COUNTING BY THE SEA is the third book in her rhyming series.
