The real Mrs. B., otherwise known as, Earnestine Jackson Burris, is an educator through and through. With well over 30 years of teaching within Louisiana’s East Baton Rouge Parish school system, Mrs. B. has a lifetime’s worth of classroom knowledge, coupled with an endless love for her students.
Mrs. B.’s ultimate goal with the Please teach Me Phonics series is to introduce new school students to some tried and true old school skills. Together she believes student and teacher can change the world– one phonics lesson at a time.
