Paummi Sarrazin's love of life in France began when she was thirteen and first discovered its culture and people. She was privileged to live outside of Paris for three years with her family and to return often as she led a life bridging two continents. At 35, she met her husband, Jeanmi, and moved again to France, but this time, to the mountains in the southeast corner. Despite her global travels, she feels most at home in the Hautes-Alpes in France, where she currently lives with her husband, son, and two dogs. "The American and the Bus Driver" is Paummi's debut novel, capturing her unique journey. Between writing and contemplating her next book, she immerses herself in hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and reading.
