Stephenson was born and raised just outside of Dallas, Texas.
They've recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest having lived between New York City and Rome the last five years.
Their greatest literary influences are as follows but not limited to; Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Italo Calvino, Jim Harrison, Joan Didion, André Salmon, Joy Harjo and Anthony Bourdain.
