The world of Cougar Reed had been forming, and growing, since Jim Mohr was a small boy in Central Wisconsin. Even through his time in the military and the Persian Gulf War the fictional world centered around the Wisconsin Illinois base had been refining.
Over 25 years later his wife, Jennifer, urged him to put pen to paper. The six-book series was created. Now, in East central Illinois, Jim spends his time writing, practicing his lumberjack skills, and caring for the 3 cats, and dog who share the couple’s home.
