About the Author

For Kebaneilwe Garebatho to write his book 'The Pain of Love,' he was inspired by two events. The first event was when he caught his long tine fiancé of 9 years red handed in a heated mood having sex with another man in the author's house, bedroom, bed, blankets and using the author's condoms. The second incident after three years was when he caught his second fiancé with his best friend in bed after the friend left him in a bar after telling the bar attendants to serve the author with alcohol as he was going to come and pay for them during his return. He did that for three weeks while leaving the author in the bar to go to his place, have sex with the author's partner, get money from her to go and pay for the beers the author has taken in the bar. The outer cover of 'The Pain of Love' reflects how the two were when the author caught them on the third week when they didn't expect him to come home. The author then interviewed people who were awaiting trial after killing their partners. Also interviewed were some social workers, psychologists, pastors, African traditional doctors, pastors, police officers, lawyers and judges. After compiling information from all these people, he then wrote the book 'The Pain of Love' which later on wrote a revised version of it.
