Higo Gabarron
· Professional mixed-media artist, graphic designer, gallery owner/operator, and college art professor.
· BS in Graphic Arts and Design at Universidad de las Americas Puebla, Mexico.
· Postgraduate studies in art restoration at Puebla's Universidad Iberoamericana.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021, Higo uses Art as therapy to help herself. She creates images based on her feelings, drawing one illustration per day, expressing each moment of her experience. Higo wins a grant to create WOMEN’S ART JOURNAL in 2023, expanding her use of art as therapy to every woman diagnosed with breast cancer.
