For Hallie, scribbling her feelings in poetic form is wholly therapeutic. She feels that poetry found her during the formative time in which her mother was sick, carried her through the death of her wonderful mother, and holds her hand as she stumbles on in her journey. Hallie hopes her words, her very soul poured onto pages, give comfort to the reader no matter the struggle they face. She believes that in our darkest and hardest moments, do we feel the most connected.
