Overview
In her first book, Hallie explores the beauty in life, the inevitability of death, and the space between. She focuses on the human, emotional response to these truths. Written in Hallie's unique rhythm and style, "Seafoam Green" is about reflection, connection, and imperfection.
Description
In her first book, Hallie shares the many thoughts and emotions she felt in an intensely transformative time in her life. Her raw delivery takes the reader into her every emotion as she grapples with the many questions and feelings that are fundamental to the human experience. She invites the reader to reflect on their own thoughts and actions, forge connection with those enduring similar struggles, and acknowledge and embrace imperfection as an unavoidable truth.
About the author
Poetry found Hallie Herold more than she found poetry. This collection was written out of an indescribable and desperate need for processing during an intensely transformative time in her life. Something about the departure from mind to arrival on paper proved therapeutic. This practice brought her peace as she survived the many difficulties and emotions fundamental to the human experience: life, death, and the struggle in between. "Seafoam Green" is her first book.
