Traveled the world on U.S. Coast Guard cutters as a career member (23 years) of that military. I sailed all the oceans of the world and crossed all the earth's lines (equator, international date line, Arctic Circle, and Antarctic Circle) After the U.S. Coast Guard I had a second career as a U.S. National Park Service Ranger exploring nature to its fullest. I have pulled the characters for my poetry from folks I have met and things I have seen from living life to its fullest.
