Gay Haines has lived in Venice since 2004 and has never met a dog she didn’t like. Oliver moved into her life a few years later and told her he never met a person he didn’t prefer to most dogs. A happy union was immediately formed. Together they enjoy car rides, walks on the beach, all varieties of social events and just enjoying life. The most enjoyable times are the hours spent in service to others in the community as well as the tri-county area. Over Oliver’s 12 years of service they have shared many happy moments, funny moments, also some sad and deeply concerning moments, but both agree that no matter the outcome, it has been deeply rewarding and Oliver would not have given it up for all the bones and biscuits in the world.
