Shiwendra Singh was a civil engineer for the PA Department of Transportation for 35 years. Shiwendra was born and raised in a small village in Bihar, India. Through his dedication to education, he earned his way to Canada for a Masters program. He was the first in his family to leave India and eventually immigrated to the United States in 1969, landing in the small town of Clearfield, PA. He and his wife Sita raised their family and some extended family there and all have gone on to complete college degrees. His emphasis on education and family support paved the way for his growing extended family, which as of 2025, counts more than 60 members across America.
