This is Ray's third published book. The first book, "It's Not Natural to Be Normal," was published in 1992, and his second, "Losing Successfully," in 2003. Since then, he has delivered thousands of sermons and lectures to numerous denominations, emphasizing that we cannot reach our fullest potential without believing in Christ. Ray emphasizes that prayer should always accompany scripture study, fostering a sense of reverence and spiritual connection. He wants scholars, ministers, and students to approach each scripture with an open mind, willing to ask questions that begin with who, what, when, where, and why to dig deep into the text's meaning. Commentaries, group study, and individual sessions should always begin and end with prayer. The insights and truth gleaned from the text will enlighten each to the message of Jesus Christ.
