Natarsia Joye
published her first work, My Pen, My Thoughts, in Fall of 2020. A time in America where protests, riots and
looting were taking place to speak out against the murders of Black men by
police, blatant corruption, disenfranchisement, inequality, overall
frustration with our government, the corona virus epidemic & quarantine and
a presidential election that has divided the country and families.
It is for
this reason Natarsia decided it was time to publish her book of poems. Her work
is reflective of many of these issues. It is her hope that her words will
inspire and transform the minds and souls of all of her readers.
